1 Different raw materials
The raw materials of general coke products are mainly coking coal with strong adhesion, such as coking coal, fat coal and other coking coal, which is generally produced by a single coal, and no coal blending is required in the production process.
2. Different technology
Generally, the production of coke products is mainly based on high temperature retorting, and the retorting temperature usually needs to reach about 1000 ° C. After years of development, the current large-scale coke furnace equipment and technology is relatively mature, has improved the unit production of equipment to achieve large-scale production conditions, the newly built coke oven in recent years, each output can reach about 500,000 tons/year, the highest can even exceed 1 million tons/year, such as the recently put into operation of the mine international coking plant two carbonization chamber 7.63 meters high coke oven, Each can produce up to 1.1 million tons/year.
The production of blue carbon is mainly based on low temperature distillation, and the temperature of dry distillation is generally about 600℃. It can only use the combination technology of one furnace and multiple doors to achieve centralized large-scale production.
3 Different qualities
Compared with the general meaning of coke products, blue carbon has high fixed carbon, high specific resistivity, high chemical activity, low ash, low sulfur, low phosphorus, low water "three high and four low" points, but at the same time, the strength and crushing resistance of blue carbon are relatively poor.
4 Different uses
Coke products in the general sense are mostly used in the metallurgical industry such as blast furnace ironmaking and casting, but because of the relatively poor strength and crushing resistance, blue carbon can not be used in blast furnace production. However, in ferroalloy, calcium carbide, fertilizer and other industries, orchid charcoal can completely replace the general coke, and the quality is better than the national metallurgical coke, cast coke and ferroalloy special coke standards, so orchid charcoal in improving the quality of downstream products, saving energy, reducing production costs, increasing production, etc., has higher application value; At the same time, it also has development potential in blast furnace injection, carbonization production and activated carbon.
5 The market price is different
Due to the differences in raw materials and processes, the market price of orchid carbon is much lower than that of ordinary coke. In 2006, for example, the market price of charcoal is about 300 yuan/ton, and the average price of the lowest grade coke (10-25mm) is also about 760 yuan/ton. The relatively low market price makes the Lan-carbon products have higher market competitiveness.
